Shoes with this dress?

I bought this today - dress and cardi as in the pic. What shoes / boots do I need? Any suggestions? Thanks :-)

Work - where i'm going out for Christmas drinks in the evening. I do have (uncomfortable) blue ballet flats...

Pretty dress. I'd probably go for opaque-ish (like 40-60 denier) black tights and black ankle boots, or nude fishnets and tan/nude/goldy ankle boots.
