I'm in the same position cheery. Go to a good optician and see which ones suit you best. There are some great, trendy glasses out there which look ridiculous on me. I'm still trying to find a pair for myself.

agree with jura everything seems to be rimless which doesn't suit me or oblong which I have. these are mine. They are less than half the price I paid instore for them. I would recommend finding a pair you like then looking online for them. I'm going to jsut order another pair of those when I get the money. My perscription has changed, and I got contacts but not new glasses yet.

i think that slightly slanted modern cats eyes specs in green are the fashion - at least that's what i just bought. lovely. (had rimless years ago, darling...) seriously, i am blind, been wearing specs since at primary school and i like to get a striking pair. does depend on whether you are a terrible show-off, though.
