What do we think of this dress - for christmas night out. Would team with black tights and blazer. Thoughts? Can't tell if it's abit trashy!!!

Fab if you're 18 and a size 6. As a 40 year old size 18 it's not for me!

OHolyShite · 13/12/2014 18:56

It's a bit short and tight.

But if you're tall, slim and small of nork (doesn't look bra friendly at the back) it'd be ok.

saveahorserideacowboy · 13/12/2014 18:57

Hmm this is my dilemma I'm 27 and size 10. Mum of 2, not sure if I'm abit past it for this dress! BlushI was looking for something boob covering as still bf toddler Ds and they are huge and droopy! Confused

We think it is very Christmassy. We think we would baste you and put you in a hot oven for several hours on Christmas Day.

Out of interest, what are the washing instructions for bacofoil?

saveahorserideacowboy · 13/12/2014 18:59

I've got a special bra thing that means I can wear low back dresses x

I think it's nice and ideal for a Christmas party. Go for it or you'll only regret it

KarenHillavoidJimmyswarehouse · 13/12/2014 19:07

It's lovely and at size 10 it will look great on you - on the proviso your backless bra contraption will actually support your boobs. Just a word of warning though, I'm large chested and I never wear high necked stuff as I then look huge. Although a blazer will help with that. Will look lovely with black tights. Oooooh I'm jealous.

IgnoreMeEveryOtherReindeerDoes · 13/12/2014 19:11

Just make sure you don't drop anything that needs to be picked up.

Yes very Christmassy dress and no your not too old to wear it

saveahorserideacowboy · 13/12/2014 19:15

Oooh thankyou guys think I'm going to go for it Shock can always give it to my slimmer small norked friend if I look ridiculous! I don't go out much so wanted something festive x

mmmm....Its a bit Jordan.

saveahorserideacowboy · 13/12/2014 20:26

Am hoping with black tights and blazer (and subtle make up) it won't look jordan!

OP posts:
burnishedsilver · 13/12/2014 22:18

It won't. It's the low back that's a bit iffy. A blazer over it will fix that.

TheBuskersDog · 13/12/2014 23:30

I don't think it's the sort of dress you're meant to wear a blazer with.

Mrsgrumble · 13/12/2014 23:33

You're in your 20s and a 10 so defo go for it :)

DuchessDisaster · 14/12/2014 02:02

Much too short.

Twinklestein · 14/12/2014 09:45

I don't think it's particularly tight or particularly short, that doesn't bother me.

It's garish fish scale pattern I'm not sure about, it looks a bit Scally lass trying to pull a footballer.

I would go for a similar sparkly sequin dress but in one colour - here are loads around.

OuchLegoHurts · 14/12/2014 14:11

I think it's gorgeous and with a black blazer, black opaques and maybe shoe boots it will be fab! Not Jordan at all with all the black to tone it down. Enjoy!
