Long wearing lipsticks recs

Any recommendations? I'm not really a lipstick person anyway but even when I do apply its off my lips within an hour or so

I use Mac lipsticks and though I love the colours I keep having to do sneaky bathroom trips to reapply which I hate doing!

I find Urban Decay the best for staying on.

I have a maybelline 24 hour one that I have to scrub off.

Also a revlon matte balm pencil (like a chubby crayon) which does a good job of lasting 3-4 hours without reapplying.

I find my MAC lipsticks are the longest lasting
I find The Matte ones to be the best for staying power
I apply then blot and they last for ages
Love Ruby Woo and Relentlessly Red

Hmm maybe it's just the way I apply, I just put one layer on straight, forget to blot, apply foundation on lips or wherever you're supposed to do

The 24 hr one sounds good, I might have a try of all these over Xmas, I hate the reapplying and this puts me off wearing lipstick so I need to sort this out! Thanks for the recommendations that's a start Smile

I love the Maybelline ones, although I wish they had a wider shade range.

[[http://www.hourglasscosmetics.com/makeup/lips/lipstick/liquid-lipstick]] is fab. It doesn't bleed into my upper lip wrinkles and it stays put forever.

FibonacciSeries · 08/12/2014 15:19

Trying again...

Nars matte lip pencils. Do not budge.

Maybelline Super Stay 24 hours is a revelation. Put on a thin coat - I do it with a lip brush not the applicator. Keep your lips apart while it dries - they say 2 mins - but about 3. Then apply the conditioner stick over the top.

It literally lasts through everything and as coffeenut says you have buff it off.

Highly recommend it for parties and evening wear where you don't want to be retouching.

Max Factor Lipfinity stays on and stays put and there's a really good Avon one that I use all the time now called Perfect wear Plump and Stay that stays put even after coffee, meals and snogging.
