Nice cotton (maybe Terry's) dressing gown?

I'm after a dressing gown for my sister for Christmas. Looking for something possibly striped, needs to be easy to wash and a colour other than white (she's not hugely careful with her morning cups of tea).

Ideally cotton or Terry's but definitely not that weird fluffy fleecy material that I keep finding otherwise ideal dressing gowns in.

Can anyone help? Budget £30 ish

I'm looking too, with little success. The only retailer I've found that sells reasonably-priced cotton ones is Dunelm.

I hate that fluffy stuff too: gives me electric shocks??

I was just looking at these soak and sleep bathrobes as a gift for my dn

Thanks behohohove, looks like a possible.

Just found [this h&m one m.hm.com/gb/product/82813?article=82813-F&variant=006] but worried about shopping online with them, last time it took about six weeks and I swore never again ShockHmm

This looks lovely in the blue.

LillyHammer · 06/12/2014 00:34

who is Terry and why do you want his dressing gown?

CointreauVersial · 06/12/2014 12:14

Raising, that looks gorgeous. Funny how dressing gowns are all sweaty fleece nowadays.

TheCowThatLaughs · 06/12/2014 12:16

I used to have a boss called Terry, I never saw his dressing gown but his personal hygiene left a bit to be desired tbh

VarsityQueen · 06/12/2014 16:32

I've got the one Raising linked to, can recommend. It's a nice weight. La Redoute also do some but they don't tend to be as good quality

I saw some in the towel section of my local John Lewis today. Reduced from £30 to £25 I think. One was stripey too.

Think it was this. www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-striped-fleece-robe-navy/p469216

Cotton ones seem to be getting harder and harder to get. Landsend often have some, though not that cheap.

M&S have a few cotton ones, but they seem very pastelly, on the whole.

This is still pale, but does look lovely and snuggly

I hate the polyester ones. They stick to my fingers like velcro.

I ended up buying the linen one from H&M, went to the shops at the weekend. It's lovely actually, tempted to go back and get one myself! m.hm.com/gb/product/82813?article=82813-F&variant=006
