Tracksuit bottoms (for sport) for dh that don't look ridiculous

Dh (52) helps out with both dc's football, sometimes coaching, sometimes linesman etc. He wears some Lacoste tracksuit bottoms and looks ridiculous. Thinks Harry Enfield's three Scouser characters with the bubble perms. What tracksuit bottoms could he wear on his not slim but not especially chunky frame that will look passable?
