What to wear with these tights?

I bought a pair of these wolford tights because I've really liked them for ages! Problem is what to wear with them without looking like a hooker. Has anyone seen any classy just above the knee LBDs with a collar & short sleeves? Be honest MNs, I can take it. I do not want to look like I work the streets...

Nothing helpful to add I'm afraid, my hairdresser was wearing some similar last week, but more of a ripped tights effect, looked great but I wasn't sure what I could wear them with. A plain above the knee black dress would work though I think you're right

Plain black dress - not too short ! - will look great. Assume you have reasonably slim legs...

Well the lass in the picture seems to have neglected to put anything on. Silly girl, she'll get cold like that.

When I wear my "bonkers tights" (as DH puts it) a bit like this, I wear a short-ish but plain black dress or skirt (well, you want the tights to be seen) and heels. Top well covered.
