Help me find an adorable dress for a toddler!

Hi, I really need some help in finding my 2 year old something to wear on Christmas day.

I have visions of a festive colour and traditional design, perhaps smocked, in velvet or cord, maybe long sleeved or cap sleeved with a matching cardi.

I will spend up to 50 quid.

I remember getting an email from Zulily yonks ago with a weblink to a beautiful site full of traditional victorian type childrens clothes, the kind of thing you can wear black patent t-bars with :)

I've looked at Boden, Joules, House of Fraser, Sarah Louise, Polarn O pyret, Cachet Kids.... I'm out of ideas!

The nearest I've found is this sort of thing

I also don't want her to look like she's attending Hogmanay at a Highland Castle.....

Can anyone help please?

Thanks x

Thanks for the reply!

I don't really like sleeveless on toddlers, and the red one is nice, but.... not really special enough iyswim?

Have you tried John Lewis and Mamas and Papas?

I wanted something similar when DD2 was 2 and ended up getting something off ebay (think it was a Next dress)

tethersend · 04/12/2014 19:54

DD2 has this and it's bloody lovely.

Most of the Little Bird range is lovely, TBH.

Oh thanks all!

I love the Little Bird one, I do like Jools' stuff generally, plus it gives me an excuse to buy the lovely red t bar shoes that Mothercare have at the moment.

The Betty Chocolate shop one is lovely too but I was hoping for a more Xmassy colour.... hmm could be persuaded!

I was wondering about this but don't think its warm enough.

Ta!
