I am having a party and need something trendy to wear. HELP!!

My DH and I are having a party for my brother and SIL to welcome the new baby into the family. We are having it at our restaurant on a Sunday lunchtime and I am the hostess!!

So, what do I wear?

I am 35, 5ft 6' and size 12-14. I have biggish boobs (36DD) and brown choppy hair.

Dont want jeans as I want to be smartish but not overdressed. Thinking of black trousers with a top but a swishy sort of top. Whaddya you style people think??

I would go fitted top if youhave big boobs.

what about a dress and footless tights?

glittery gold or silver jumper dress
over black trousers
and some boots

adds a sparkle without being overdressed

Love the top but wonder if it might gape a bit.

Sparkly dress would be lovely if I was a size 8 but I think it might be a bit unforgiving on my tummy?

Oasis have quite a few tops like this in different prints and varying lengths: purple smock top and actually I quite like the silk top they have next to it: purple spots

Principles online - shop by collection - Bauhaus collection - nice silk wrap top reduced, and further down on the left (if you click on show all) a sleeveless multicoloured top which my DSis (also large chest) has bought and says is really flattering - and the multi swishy top on the front page looks good too, can't do links as you can see!
