Do they make you look younger?I am thinking of having one and haven't had one in years but am hoping it will cover the lines on my forehead and stop me being tempted by botox

i too have forehead of billboard proporions. have to have fringe but hate having to have one. it never sits neatly - tends to do that annoying thing of each side flicking out the side in the manner of curtains. tried growing it out once but my face looked sooooo long -like the scream mask

Still considering it Have small forehead but lots of frown lines! It is a first try before botox tbh

I'd actually ask your hairdresser noddy and see what they say. They know all about face shapes etc and what suits. You also don't have to have a full fringe you could just have a fine layer one or even half a one!

Have just got today's Ok magazine (yes I am sad) and Cheryl Cole has had a fringe cut in new fringe

I'm going to get a fringe cut in when I have my hair cut next week, have being thinking of it for a while, glad you all like them!

MadameMorticiaMills · 11/10/2006 14:14

The shame, I have the same hair as Cheryl Cole (albeit a lot darker).

incy · 11/10/2006 14:20

I really like it MMM

MamaGhoul · 11/10/2006 14:22

I don't have a fringe as I have a very small forehead and look odd withe one. they do look nice but I think they're a bit too high maintenance - all that trimming, straightening etc.

MadameMorticiaMills · 11/10/2006 14:25

I love my hair, had it done about 18 months ago but now, nooooooooooooo, Girls Aloud? FFS!

sob

MadameMorticiaMills · 11/10/2006 14:27

Gosh yes, I will wear a bag over my head the next time I restyle!
