Need ideas for my birthday gift from my husband. Approx £300

I was 40 last week and have ummed and ahhed about my birthday gift.

I don't have any hobbies. I have lots of jewellery. I'm not into handbags (although I wouldn't turn down a Mulberry Roxanne!)

Any ideas?

What about a spa day type thing? You could go somewhere really lovely and get a few treatments for that kind of money. You lucky thing! ;)

Ah, that sounds lovely but not really possible. We work opposite days and nobody to have the children. GAH!

A watch? Beautiful scarf? Are you leaning more towards something attractive and useful, or frivolous and beautiful?

A pair of boots or a leather jacket?

I would go for a watch or a ring to mark the occasion..prob a watch as you have lots of jewellery, maybe with engraving on the back if u like that

For my birthday next year I would like a really nice garden bench as ours is looking a bit shabby, something like this would be perfect.

Is it greasy?

I'd go for a cashmere scarf .

Mine got me a vanity plate plate for my car. I change cars a lot due to high mileage and frees me up to replace with same age car
Some think it's daft but I love it

Loved the idea of the private plate, something I'll always have. Managed to get initial of month of birth, day of birthday and then my initials so it's fab!
