Best brown eyeliner for lower waterline?

Hello,
Currently using Laura Mercier tighline cake for upper lash line and loving it, but I want to do a subtle smoky eye for a night out and I'm struggling to find a liner that a) isn't too dark/solid and b) doesn't disappear - any recommendations please?

I like Teddy from MAC. I also just got a cheap one from GOSH. At Superdrug. Both last all day and work wonders.

Thanks Wayekwakey - I have Teddy, and just tried it again to be sure, it just doesn't seem to adhere to my waterline

I'm tempted to try the Guerlain loose khol, though they only seem to do it in black or blue...

I've been using a NARS eyeliner recently and once set, it doesn't budge at all, even on waterlines.
