I'm looking for an everyday lip colour to brighten my complexion and make me look a bit more put together!

Any recommendations? Preferably something non drying & fuss free.

Revlon lip butters. I have them in about four different colours. Feel very comfortable on, not gloopy, good colour payoff but natural looking. Brilliant.

Clarins equivalent of juicy tubes are v moisturising.

Clinique lip smoothies and almost lipsticks are lovely too.

I really recommend the Burt's Bees tinted lip balms:
www.burtsbees.co.uk/natural-products/lips-lip-colour/tinted-lip-balm.html

They're not too heavily pigmented so you can apply them without a mirror, like a normal lip balm. With a couple of layers applied, they give your lips a lovely natural, healthy-looking bit of colour, and they're also very moisturising. Rose and Red Dahlia are both red-toned and would be the closest to most people's natural lip colour, I think.

Clinique Chubby Stick for lips in Whole Lotta Honey. It's a perfect nude shade that instantly brightens my face and intensely moisturising with a slight gloss to it.

SuperFlyHigh · 20/11/2014 10:14

really depends on your skin tone to be honest and colouring (says me).

Reds apparently brighten my face and make me look alive but too much for everyday... for me anyway.

ThrowAChickenInTheAir · 20/11/2014 10:17

Ooh yes I'll second the Clinique Chubby Sticks! I like Pudgy Peony but there are lots of shades to choose from.

I like them because they are sheer in colour so don't look as obvious as lipstick but have more colour to them than a gloss. Also they stay on better than gloss and aren't sticky.

Lndnmummy · 20/11/2014 20:44

Love Chubby sticks for this, my current favourite is super strawberry. Can be applied on tube without mirror ;)

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 20/11/2014 20:51

I use the Clinique Super Strawberry chubby stick, too. For a great red, try Maybellibe Color Drama lip pencil in Red Essential.

I love BeneBalm - Benefit red tinted balm. Gives a lovely natural red, but I love that you can put it on any time without a mirror.

QueenoftheWildThings · 20/11/2014 21:42

I like the pur mineral lip gloss that you can get from M&S, have bought them for loads of people and everyone likes them. Lots of pigment, but sheer so you can put it on without a mirror like a lip balm.

itsbetterthanabox · 20/11/2014 23:03

Revlon just bitten balm stain in honey. They are twist up chubby pencil shaped lipsticks which last well but are very moisturising but not overly glossy. Honey is the perfect my lips but better pink shade.

itsbetterthanabox · 20/11/2014 23:04

A lot of beauty bloggers say the revlon one is a good cheap alternative to Clinique chubby sticks

MakeMeWarmThisWinter · 20/11/2014 23:19

Revlon lip butter in pink truffle is a lovely 'my lips but better' one.

ZaraW · 21/11/2014 10:02

Korres lip butter in Peach I love it.

Cranagh · 21/11/2014 10:05

Dior Addict Lip Glow

PunkrockerGirl · 21/11/2014 10:05

Maybelline Babylips. Tinted lip balm - I love them and they're cheap too!

ZaraW · 21/11/2014 10:09

Korres lip butter in Peach I love it.

No. 7 high-shine lip crayon. Stumbled upon it by chance with one of their money-off vouchers. It's so lovely, feels silky and not sticky. I suppose it's a similar idea to the chubby sticks.
