do i need to change my cleanser

I have used nivea 2 in 1 cleanser +toner for years it's now not having the same affect i'm hitting mid 40's any advise please

Normal used to have a oily t zone but that has gone as i've agedSmile

In my opinion, cleansers should be as gentle as possible while removing makeup easily. Fancy ingredients matter less because it just gets rinsed off (I look for serums and creams for those considerations). So, something gentle and not too sudsy is important to me. I like the oil cleansers and balms. I was using L'Oréal cleansing oil and liked it. Now I use Clinique Take Off the Day Balm and I love it.

Personally I do not use any face cleanser, I just wash my face using water and a regular dove soap.
But my MIL used Olay Age Defying Classic Cleanser it cleanse and renew skin's surface to reveal softer, smoother skin instantly, and I really see the amazing results on her face.
No more to oily skin.

Thanks for the advise ladies the nivea used to make a big diffrence to my skin now i wonder if it's worth the effort of using it switch to another brand without toner tried a few serums yet to find 1 that i could not live without
