Thigh-high stockings that are actually long enough to go up my thighs?

I've been wearing stockings and suspenders a bit, lately, but while the Primark stockings are OK enough, they are not really as long as I'd like. I have a 33' inseam and would love to find stocking that actually reach all the way up to perhaps three inches below my crotch instead of halfway between my crotch and knees.

Does anybody have any suggestions? There's a stockings website that specialises in really tall ones but they all seem to be for men who are also very heavy. As in, they're just XXXL and cite weight ranges of 300lbs. I worry those would bag on me.

(By the way, while Primark suspender stockings are nice enough, I do not rate their hold-ups at all. For cheap hold-ups I get Asda. And, I don't wear them all day. Just in the bedroom. I have no idea which hold-ups actually stay up during daily life.)

M&S stay ups all the way. I can go out and dance all night and they are still in place!

I wear Falke holdups which are really long, so I imagine the normal stockings would be too. I do buy Large, even though I'm a 'medium' weight, but that gives the extra length, and the fit is fine. They are pricey, but I don't often wear dresses, so I don't mind.

The LTS ones aren't sheer enough but they do look nice.

I ended up googling "stockings uk" and finding a specialist retailer. I called their customer service number and the gentleman was very helpful - perfectly happy to look for the exact style (sheer, black, plain tops, lycra content, made for long legs but not necessarily big legs.) He suggested two makes and I've ordered one of each.

I'll remember that about M&S hold-ups. Stay-ups seem to be much more popular now... House of Fraser barely had any traditional suspender stockings.

Falke, Trasparenze and Levante are all pretty good for hold ups IME. They all stay up well. If you are ok with hold ups they seem better to me to be honest and there's a much greater selection of types and colours. Some have lovely tops which are nicer than stockings. Stockings Direct and My Tights are both good.

I do like hold ups, but I sometimes want to wear a get-up that involves suspenders. But I think hold ups are becoming much more popular.
