Are these boots nice? Or can you recommend nicer ones?

I'm about to buy these.

I've been after dark red/oxblood ankle boots for ages. I really like them but am concerned that the heel is maybe too chunky? Is the trend for clumpy boots out again rendering these passé?

In have up to £100 to spend. I want dark red boots with a heel.

I like the Clarks ones apart from the serrated sole (is that the right word?). I think it looks really ugly.

I'm not keen on the Debenhams ones and the Gabor ones are really not my taste (in fact my Mum wears that brand and style).

Do you think the New Look ones are nice?

If you like them then what does it matter what other people think? By nature people have different tastes and what a boring world it would be if we all liked the same things. Have some confidence in yourself rather than strangers opinions.

I was looking for opinions and alternative suggestions before spending (what is to me) quite a lot of money chubby.

The Gant ones are really fab but too expensive and I'd prefer red to brown.

Really like the Topshop ones though .

I do like the new look ones, but I would prefer something without the buckles. Definitely prefer the NL ones to the TS ones those.

Definitely the Clarks bookts, I don't like the New Look ones I'm afraid. Also 70! I didn't realise they sold anything that expensive!
