How to have gravity defying short hair

I have a short pixie cut, which I'd like to wear in faux-hican.

But how can I do this? I dried it upside down today, which kindof worked, then I put some Fudge strong hold texturising cream on it. I don't know, it wasn't quite gravity defying enough though Grin.

Have you seen "It's all about mary" Wink

Seriously, ive done a faux-hican in my long hair and the key was backcombing.

hairybabysmumagain · 15/11/2014 21:29

Shorter?? It sticks up easier the shorter it is?

WastingMyYoungYears · 16/11/2014 00:22

trixy, Grin yes, I've seen it, but I hadn't thought of that!

Ooh, backcombing, hairy - thanks, that's a good idea. It might be too short to back comb though...

Have some highlights/lowlights put in. Gives texture and oomph!
