Halloween fancy dress party-what to wear with a bump?

I'm 31 weeks pregnant (but look even more apparently) and I've got to plan a Halloween fancy dress outfit for(me and) my bump. My bf has suggested just dressing the bump, as a pumpkin, but I'm not sure as that will involve face paints(and could scare small children). Huge swollen feet and ankles could be another interesting feature...

what about making an arrow, like those ones which people put on their heads with the wire round the back? you could put a bit of wire under your boobs. maybe too dark?

or just say to people 'honestly, if this boil doesn't calm down soon i'm going to have to get it lanced...' that's what i did last year at 7 months pregnant and it got a few weak laughs. i think i remember tracey ullman saying it first about a hundred years ago.

God, I'd love to go as a pregnant nun-that would go down so well here-in the south of Spain! I'm sure it wont be possible to hire a habit though-I'll have to have a go at making my own.

I'll put details about the party on here nearer the time for all those who live in or are visiting the South of Spain at the time. It's a party for charity with lots of families (of different nationalities) going-it's being held near Estepona.
