Is this actually possible? My natural hair colour would be a mix of light brown and gold/red (really can't remember now because I've had it coloured for so long!) I seem to remember hearing that shop-bought products won't be enough to really lighten the hair - is that the case or have things improved now? I like it to be really bright blonde, I usually get foil at the hairdressers.
