I've just taken delivery of it this morning, been wanting one for quite a while and even after my very first attempt I'm really impressed!

I've got long, thick layered hair and it looks like it's been salon dried, really brings out the layers.

Thanks to MN I've finally bought one and am v happy

they don't seem to last very long sadly.Sad Mine us making a burning smell and the brush barely twirls at all. It's a couple of years old but it hasn't been used every day. Or even every week. Shame because it was great when it was new.

Ooh I was looking at this the other day. I'm a sucker for straighteners, curling tongs, root boosting crimpers etc tell me more Confused

I've had mine a few years....they are so good. I literally can't blow dry the old way so this really helps....

VenusRising · 13/11/2014 10:50

Treacle soda, have you got hair caught up in yours- that might explain why it's not twirling and the burning smell.

Maybe take a scissors to it and try and poke out and trim the hairs?

I find mine is fab and I've had it for a year- hair does get caught up and I have to make sure it's free to turn properly by removing all the hair it catches especially as I seem to be shedding my summer coat.

treaclesoda · 13/11/2014 10:53

I don't think there is hair caught in it as I usually brush the hair out of it. But I'll take a closer look. Smile

MissBeehiving · 13/11/2014 10:56

I've had mine for about 3 years and use it everyday Smile

applecatchers36 · 13/11/2014 10:58

Have gone through 3 in 3 years..they are good but can't cope with very long/ thick hair

Petal02 · 13/11/2014 10:59

I love my BBH - my layers, if left to their own devices, kick outwards, and it needs either a good blow dry technique (which I don't have) or BBH to persuade them to lay flat.

I thought the title said"Baby with big hair" - v disappointed not to see a photo of a tiny Afro! Grin

Totesnamechanged · 13/11/2014 12:05

I usually blow dry rough and then straighten the life out of my hair. Every single day.

It's so long and thick and also needs washing every day so fingers crossed I prefect my technique and shorten my getting ready time.

I actually have swishy hair today Grin

I got one and I like it, but I can't get salon results with it. However, I am an utter hair klutz. I'm hopeless with a regular dryer and a round brush, and this is certainly easier and helpful.

I mostly just rough dry and then straighten it with GHD's (and I STILL don't get salon results, so utterly useless with hair am I.)
