Do you have dyed red hair?

I've decided to dye my hair red - I want a deep red.

Could you tell me what colour you used and how you stop it from fading?

Do you do it yourself or get it done at the hairdressers?

What is your natural shade? I'm dark blonde underneath and I use various brands, Aldi is actually really good and quite dark red, feria do a great very bright one and the super drug red is good. You can't stop it fading so I just do it about once a month at home.

Thanks Ehric - I'm naturally brunette but my hair is lightened so dark blonde at the moment. Will definitely have a look at the ones you suggested.

I have mine a deep purple/burgundy. I use Castings Plum and it last pretty well
