Yes or no? I've lost weight and got fitter and really fancy a jacket to go with my new slimleg jeans (having ditched the bootcut and fleece look at last! ). But with my age and colouring (natural blonde) I don't think black would work well, too harsh. I'm 5'1, so need petite size for the arm length, and I don't think the asymetric styles with flappy bits works well either when you're small. A bit of sheepskin might soften the look a bit...

What I think I want is something like this but in brown and petite size.... I don't suppose anyone has come across anything like that?

Think something refined is a good look so you don't look swamped, particularly if you're petite. Top Shop have some very fitted leather jackets in colours like burgundy and khaki. Don't let the Top Shop bit put you off - I've not seen them for real but the styles look pretty classic. They also tend to be on the small side which would work if you're petite. Some are described as bikers but worth a look. I agree about avoiding black and keeping it fitted.

Oh... I do like the look of the RAF one (though it's a bit darker than I was envisioning) -very tempting at that price - but they give no size guide.

The zalando one does - 25" sleeve length is way too long alas.

Error, I'm your age and 5' 3" and bought nice leather jacket from River Island, last winter though. Very small fitting in all dimensions and we are definitely not too old. I get lots of compliments.
