Please help me find Nigella-style dresses?

I am similar shape to Nigella so I'm very interested in what she wears. I own one Katya Wilding bombshell dress. I got it off ebay (bargain). It's the business! ...but I cannot afford to buy any more. :-(

Does anyone know where I can find similar but cheaper dresses to Katya Wilding and Saint Bustier? ie with the 'boob space', sucked in waist and ruching to cover tummy bits...
Ta x

Lindybop is worth a look as they cut for hourglass figures and have wiggle dresses as well as full skirted numbers. Some are really cheap in the sale too.

Big fan of Baukjen they have some great wrap dresses in both Jersey and more structured materials.

MsIngaFewmarbles · 12/11/2014 17:52

Diva in a dress are supposed to be great, definitely along the right lines style wise.

DorothyBastard · 12/11/2014 18:11

It sounds like I'm the same shape as you and I just got a lovely cheap wrap dress from the D by Damsel in a Dress diffusion range at Matalan. Really flattering shape and nice thick material. This is the one I got: www.matalan.co.uk/womens/brands/d-by-damsel-in-a-dress-dresses/s2580383/d-by-damsel--ity-dress

DorothyBastard - nice! Would have bought if not seen the Phase Eight ones... Nice colour but will have to wait until payday now. Fingers crossed still in stock.

Right, that's a blue and a purple one sorted. What I'd really like is a dark/deep RED one. Not a postbox red - not right on my skin tone. Blue toned red IYSWIM.

I'm pretty sure she's worn a couple from here www.divacatwalk.com/shop/view-all.html (as has Carol Vorderman!)

Surreyblah · 12/11/2014 20:26

Why are the priciest ones always the nicest?

I have the billion dollar baby dress from Deadly is the Female which Nigella has worn. It is the blue-toned red you're after Oink but is also £££.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 13/11/2014 10:13

Can anyone comment on the quality of Lindybop? The designs look great but at those prices are they a bit cheap-looking?

I've had a couple of the Pretty Dress Company ones and they are, ahem, very structured - they look great but they're made with stretchy stuff that is so powerful it's probably slightly more restrictive than wearing a whalebone corset.

Chaby · 13/11/2014 14:33

Lindy bop dresses look lovely, anyone with advice on quality and fit?

Ellasmum100 · 29/12/2014 15:57

The Billion Dollar Baby dress is also called the Nigella Dress in some places - it's in lots of different colours. The lovely fern green one is on sale at the moment at Saint Bustier www.saintbustier.com/nigella-dress-fern-green.html
