Good quality, relatively stylish yet sensible shoes, preferably from some ethical small retailer...

For my mum.
She wears leather flat shoes, often with a bar in a Mary Jane style. She likes colours, she's a little bit hippy so an ethical slant would be very popular but not essential. She walks a lot so must be comfy but not fugly.

Any ideas?

How about something like this?

Ooh I don't like the colour of those but the style and ethos is just right. I'll have a look at the rest of their range. Thank you!

They come in a range of colours.

They look ideal. Thank you.

I was going to suggest El Naturalista shoes. Have a Google, and you can often get them in e-bay shops.

I bought my first pair a few years ago and doubt that I'll ever wear another make for every day shoes again.
