Small barrel hot air styler for short hair

I have a short blonde crop and fancy trying to add some volume using a hot air barrel styling tool, any recommendations for a small barrel suitable for short hair, everything I google seems to be for styling long hair!

Have you used it? I'm worried the 42mm barrel may still be too big for my hair length, guess the only way to tell is to go and look at one, but working full time I was hoping to buy online!

How short is your hair? I've got the babyliss big hair for short hair but my hair is just above shoulder length. I think the barrel would be too big for a crop.

Maybe would be too big for a crop. Mine is ear-lobe length and its great for me

It's a crop, longer on top where I want to add volume but about 5/6 inches long? May need to grow it a bit first !!

I'm growing out a pixie crop and most of my hair is just below my ear love but different lengths. Would this work or is a curling iron a better idea ??
