The best facial hair remover ever!

I had to come on and tell you (or those who suffer with a tash) about my best find yet! It's a spring thing with grips that as you turn it pulls the hairs out, a little like an epilator, but you have more control. I normally either wax or have it threaded but fed up paying and wasting time with appointments. So for a pound I am very pleased! Did it whilst sat in the bath and yes it did hurt at first but then was fine and now my top lip is silky smooth! Grin

Pray that you don't get the same horrific ingrown hair moustache instead like I did

Chucked it in the bin!Sad

Clarabumps · 08/11/2014 17:16

I found it really hard to use. It looked so simple but I got hardly any hair in it.

Mintyy · 08/11/2014 17:18

I've seen lots of recommendations for this on Mumsnet. That silky smooth top lip feeling is great isn't it?

Me, I deal with mine with pointed tweezers, a x15 magnifying mirror and a sunny day. That's frightening let me tell ya!

mirandabee · 08/11/2014 17:20

What is it called?

sillymillyb · 08/11/2014 17:21

I couldn't use that for love nor money - I also got ingrowing hair on the bit I did manage to remove. No co-ordination me, obviously!

MilkshakeMonkey · 08/11/2014 17:58

Love mine too! £1 on amazon - bargain! !!

Never had any ingrown issues. Once had played for a bit I seemed to find the technique.

If you search epilator on amazon and put cheapest first I would have thought that would find it

returnvisit · 08/11/2014 18:09

i can't get any hairs out with it! whats the technique?

TheDogsMissingBollock · 08/11/2014 18:33

Had two brands of these from amazon/ebay- the first was great but cant remember its name! The second really glitchy, hardly gets the hair, tajes ages yet had really goid reviews amd looks just like the other one did. So be warned, some dodgy ones out there.

TheCowThatLaughs · 08/11/2014 18:35

I've got one and it works really well. Took a bit of practice though. I think I looked at a you tube tutorial in the end

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/11/2014 19:22

I binned mine.

bigbutsrus1 · 08/11/2014 20:29

I watched you tube clips and still takes a while to master it, it all came off though. I found waxing gave me loads of spots and dry skin Confused and this method is surely like threading as removes it from the root? May give it a good facial scrub just incase I get in growing hairs!!! I search hair removal spring on amazon. Grin
