Je ne comprend pas. If the jeans are cropped won't they sit above the boots anyway?

I am such a fashion ignoramous but I read these threads with interest in hopes of improving.

Bozza · 05/10/2006 08:54

In if they are fairly skinny, otherwise out because they will bulge out from the top of the boots.

Enid · 05/10/2006 09:16

cropped jeans - OUT

tucked in is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO last season

nailpolish · 05/10/2006 09:18

even with skinnnies enid?

not sure that slouchy boots are in tho

mysonsmummy · 05/10/2006 09:54

wow i wish i made more effort for our school run.

this morning - took pj bottoms off - put 3/4 trousers on (no knickers) left pj top on (no bra) and just put hoody over it.

what was it my mum used to say about being run over ..........

Flamebat · 05/10/2006 09:59

Slouchy boots is all I have that I can face today - tired and heels don't mix well for me... and I'm not too sure if my heeled ones are back in, or are just very very out now iyswim!!!

Went with in... they are long enough cropped not to bulge out, and are skinny. Will try and find some "in" boots so I can see if my other ones are or not!!!

I have never cared about this before... why am I now?????

Bozza · 05/10/2006 10:01

But surely if they were skinny they would not actually go over the boots.

I have only worn my boots once so far this season and then was with a skirt. Looks like I am going to have to bit some effort in to working out what to wear with what.

Flamebat · 05/10/2006 10:02

At least they wouldn't have to cut a pretty bra off you

ledodgywizardrobespierre · 05/10/2006 10:03

Definately boots out with crops.

Flamebat · 05/10/2006 10:34

Been searching through Next... the heel on my boots is a bit chunkier, but it looks like they are "in"

I love my boots

OP posts:
ScreamandYellowFeathers · 05/10/2006 10:35

what are they like?

mysonsmummy · 05/10/2006 10:42

someone did a link to M&S boots recently and they've got some lovely ones - not too expensive either. however - will be in primart later looking for mine. (fully dressed i might add) lol

Flamebat · 05/10/2006 11:14

Basic black knee high leather, with fairly chunky heels and a slim rounded toe.

Got em about 8 years ago I think... should have cost a small fortune but were in a huge sale. The zip is dying though

OP posts:
Flamebat · 05/10/2006 11:23

these are the most similar, but less detail, and a chunkier heel...

OP posts:
cowmod · 05/10/2006 11:25

big hips?// no to tucked in jeans

Flamebat · 05/10/2006 11:31

Oh now I'm lost. On my way back... awake enough to change boots.

In or out with which boots or shall I just change the sodding jeans??? Think I'm gonna give up on this whole fashion idea and go back to boyfriend jeans and trainers

Slim hips (does that make a difference??)

Can you do a link of your jeans flame?

Gobbledispook · 05/10/2006 12:21

out if cropped surely?

don't like the tucked in look myself - only works if you are skinny imo
