My engagement ring is 18ct white gold , when we get married I want yellow gold. Does anyone know if it is possible to have my engagement ring dipped or plated in yellow gold to match?

It is I think, but it doesn't last very long so you'd have to be prepared to have it done every 6-9 months

Try swimming in a heavily chlorinated pool while wearing it - reduced my 18ct white gold eternity ring to yellow gold. Only after the event did I look it up and discover that white gold and chlorine really don't mix... Hmm

Probably not the answer you wanted - I just snatched an opportunity to rant!

Or try alcohol gel. My white gold ring is now yellow thanks to working in hospitals. Preferred the white gold myself!

Iv had it for nearly 7 years and it's still exactly the same . not like iv read about white gold turning yellow. although I suspect it has nickel in it as was made in Turkey , it is not allowed in UK apparently

Iirc very good quality white gold will keep its colour as it's been plated thicker. If Turkey is anything like Greece then the jewellery tends to be much better quality than in the UK as a general rule.

Could you not get it reset in a yellow gold band?
