HELP !!- COPYCAT "BEST" FRIEND.....

My so called "best" friend copies everything i wear/hairstyle/furniture - EVERYTHING - yet much cheaper versions.It is driving me insane...what can i do to stop her????

We're so not the same size but the really annoying thing is that she says v loudly infront of people that i have copied her adn as she buys cheap stuff and i try and save up for the real thing - she sometimes wears things before mine has even arrived!! it can be flattering but when its happening all the time,its bloody annoying!!! Am trying not to get too petty about it

Okay, your poor friend quite clearly has self-esteem issues. Whatever suits you won't suit her. But you need to be sure that she doesn't suit what she has and you do. Then steer her in the direction of things she'll look good in. Suggest you both go to somewhere like The Body Shop for a makeover so she can get and idea on colours that suit her. And don't boast to her about everything you order so she can't copy you in advance.

You're not being petty, but you could be a better friend. Try to think of ways of raising her self-image (does she have good boobs to show off? Nice eyes? Good ankles?) and tell her when she really does look good in something, or when a colour suits her.
