Is this too work-y for a wedding and a graduation?

I'm looking for a dress to wear to my friend's wedding that I can also double for my son's graduation. Being a SAHM, I really don't get dressed up often enough to buy separately for each occasion.

I really like this but not sure if it's too work looking, iygwim. Opinions gratefully received!

I think it's a good fit for both scenarios (with the right accessories). Only biti don't like is the collar.

I like phase 8 for wrap dresses if you are in the UK.

It's the collar I'm not so sure about too. Is it sacrilege to DVF to get a tailor to take that bit off?! Grin

Have you tried it on? If it was perfect in every other way then I'd be tempted.

The collar is the best bit! If you don't like the collar, get this or this

The collar is lovely (as is the colour) and you could definitely wear for both - but the flippy skirt is a bit not-that-nice.

Although with your budget, I'd get this or this from Issa.

I love it! But PP right you need to accessorize on the posh side to ensure it doesn't look worky.

I like it Smile
