Could you help find me a bag I like please?

DH is telling me I need a new bag so it must be bad

My current one is falling apart. I am sooo not in to stuff like this but he's considering buying me something for Christmas and spending, say, £100 on it.

Now, I think it's crazy to spend that much on a bag (and yyy I know a lot of people on here would spend much more) but I am thinking that if I find something I really like, and is decent quality, then it would be worth it. I've carried my current one every day for about 4 years and it cost £15 so I think I'd get the wear out of a more expensive one.

I'm looking for something brown, leather, with a long strap. No decoration, something sensible. Perhaps a satchel or a messenger type thing. Doesn't need to be huge but needs to fit an A5 notebook for work. And I also carry keys, money, phone, tissues.

Seen anything? Or, where would you start looking?

because I look at stuff like this and think it's really mumsy.

Or I'd go for something like this one and I just think it's the bag which style forgot.

But it answers my description and looks practical.

Thank you. Not sure I like any of those, sorry, but I can see how they fit what I wrote! I'll have a look round those websites though.

I think I like something a bit more angular, I'm less keen on slouchy stuff.

I like this at TK Maxx but I do need it in brown...

I love the look of the bags by The Leather Store UK, available on Etsy & there's a dedicated website too. I don't own one yet so can't vouch for quality but I hope to buy one eventually. No connection (but I may have mentioned them on one or two previous bag threads ).
