Christmas Eve wedding and I have no idea what to wear

I have been invited to a very wonderful wedding but I am clueless as to what to wear. The wedding is at a very posh hotel. I am 5'4, size 8 and have a budget of Â£80 maximum. I have brown hair and suit gold, teal, purples etc. Please help this clueless woman

I saw a fabulous gold dress in cos the other day. Long sleeved and mid length about £69 very chic with some heels I thought

Loads of xmas say dresses around. Choose velvet or lace. If indoors you won't need a coat.
