Nervous about a haircut tomorrow...

Sounds pathetic I know!
I'm getting it cut not necessarily because I want to, but because I want to donate my hair to a charity that turns them into wigs for young children suffering from cancer. It's going to be a very drastic change, as I'm having about 9 inches cut off in total...eep!
Reassure me it's going to be ok?!

It's going to be absolutely fine and it is an amazing thing that you are doing!!!

That's such an ace thing to do. Try and enjoy, and if it's a shock try and wash, dry and play with it when you get home. If you think you don't like it you probably will in a couple of weeks time. Have you got a new style in mind? I bet you'll look great and feel fab

Good luck my friend does this grows her hair for a couple of years and then donates with her daughter it's a really lovely thing to do. It will be fine and you will get a whole new look it's a win win situation!

I'm suffering from anxiety at the moment, following a bereavement, so I think that's why I seem to be extra extra nervous about it.
That's so nice that your friend and her daughter regrow it to donate Zara - I'd like to do it again in a few years too.
At the moment, my hair is halfway down my back, about 26 inches in total, and I'm thinking of having it just a bit shorter than shoulder length. I like Elliot from scrubs hair (not that I watch it anymore!!), when it was shorter and a bit 'edgy' - I'm thinking something like that :)

You will be fine, don't worry. you are doing a lovely thing. Think about how happy the little girl will be with a pretty real hair wig.

My friend who's a hairdresser did the cut for me, we put it in a ponytail and measured and cut it. Then I just need to post it to the charity :)

It took a LOT of getting used to yesterday, but it's growing on me :) I can't believe how much it swishes and bounces when I tilt my head, lol!
