I have found some boots I like. They are children's shoes. I am not a child.

I've found these www.bobux.co.uk/boys/i-walk/outback-boot-navy

I really like them. Any thoughts on where I might find some adult version?

Other than that I'm totally out of my depth in this section Grin

Good luck!

amy83firsttimer · 26/10/2014 21:24

I would assume that they don't make an adult version. They're nice though.

MrsCakesPrecognition · 26/10/2014 21:24

Here you go

You4coffee · 26/10/2014 21:30

Oh those are nice Mrscakes but one of the things I like about the bobux ones is the complete flatness of them.

You4coffee · 26/10/2014 21:31

The closest I found are camper ones but still not quite the same.

Blundstone and Duckfeet similar for adults. Not many Duckfeet stockists in UK, I got mine direct from them in Denmark.

MoDhachaidh · 26/10/2014 21:37

How about these?

similar

You4coffee · 26/10/2014 21:39

Thanks bike duck feet ones look good. How was the width around the calf? I have fat legs?

And how was delivery from Denmark?

OP posts:
BikeRunSki · 26/10/2014 21:42

I've got the Roskilde ankle boots, so no calf issues. I also have fat calves!

BikeRunSki · 26/10/2014 21:43

Drlivery from DK was included in price. Think it took about a month.

You4coffee · 26/10/2014 21:50

Feels very decadent to order shoes from Denmark. Plus nervous about returns if they don't fit. I have funny feet.

BikeRunSki · 26/10/2014 22:09

I was very nervous too, big, wide feet. But there is a size guide in their website, and they fit perfectly.

amy83firsttimer · 26/10/2014 22:58

Now I really want duckfeet boots!!!!

You4coffee · 26/10/2014 23:11

I just saw that the natural shoe store in Covent Garden stocks them. I'm going tohave to go try them out.

I needed some new boots recently and picked a pair I liked and browsed the rest of the shop and saw the very same boots in the kids section for half the price (they went up to a 5)so I put my adult ones back and bought the kids one, along with another pair in brown.

Im a dummy and don't understand the sizing on the site, if they go up to your size I'd just get them, they are nice boots, hope you manage to find something similar if you can't get those.

Notmymonkeys · 26/10/2014 23:44

Ds1 has these in red. He's 2 Grin

I love them though. Dp and I would both have a pair if they did them in adult sizes.

You4coffee · 27/10/2014 00:44

mum I'd do the same if I could. Sadly I have size 40 (6/7) feet and they don't go up to that size. Sad

not my are you me? My 2yo also has them and my dp also covets them! Grin

LOVE the duckfeet boots!

Though they do seem slightly Steiner modern hippy style.....is this where my future lies, hmmmm....

NoelleHawthorne · 27/10/2014 07:11

They are gross.

velourvoyageur · 27/10/2014 07:13

not if you can pull them off Grin

0898 · 27/10/2014 07:17

I often think I've found some cracking boots on ebay only to discover that they're a child's 7 not an adults Blush

I can't do heels, even low ones and I don't want to live in trainers. Harrumph. I don't care if I look like I'm running a placenta-weaving class in the woods.
