Hello. I'd like some advice please. I have two outfits that I feel nice in, and which everyone says I actually look nice in. They are both thick material dresses which come to mid/lower thigh, under which I wear leggings. There is no way I'll wear them without leggings, I'm too big and have vile legs.
I currently wear flat pumps with them, but it's getting a bit too cold and damp for that style of shoe now. Would I get away with wearing knee-high boots, or would that look utterly ridiculous? I'm happy to be told the latter, if that is the case, so I don't make a dreadful mistake!
My knee-high boots are black btw. I have one navy dress that I wear with navy leggings, and one black that I wear with black leggings. Not sure if that makes a difference nowadays, although I was brought up to believe black and navy shouldn't be worn together.
TIA.
