Beautiful wool scarves in plain colours?

Have we seen any? H&M actually have a beautiful camel one in store for 29.99 which closely resembles those by acne but I was hoping for a different colour (wine, teal, blue, purple maybe) ...

You used to see adverts in the back of Sunday supplements for pashminas in dozens of colours - they weren't cheap, I always wondered whether they were any good.

(IIRC came in a few diff sizes up to quite large, might have had a bit of naff fringing though, praps only worth checking out if you're set on a really unusual colour)

Or is the acne scarf more textured / open weave? Think I have seen some lovely bright coloured wool scarves in Zara. Bright orange / tomato soup colour & yellow.

John Lewis has a selection of their own brand plain cashmere scarves in a good selection of colours including teal. They're £50 each but am very tempted to buy one.

I need an orange one. Darker orange, not peachy. If anyone sees one, please shout.

I was in John Lewis yesterday and they have a great selection of scarves. I have previously bought plain pure wool ones there from concessions such as Jigsaw too.
Theres' a gorgeous pink cashmere one at the Gerard Darel concession at JL too though well over £100 (sob).

Not all JL scarves are pure wool so check the label but as colour choices go they are good.
