If you have a fringe, does it cover your eyebows?

I've had a fringe forever and have always had it long enough to cover my eyebrows. But I've got good eyebrows and think I'd like to show them. How do I do this without looking about 8.

I used to have a whispy fringe (after a one length bob, got a bit bored) .I always asked for it to be brow level but I could push it back.

Now my hair is short with a side fringe (again, pushed back)

Try having your fringe layered maybe?

Sort of.....but my hair is fairly fine, so my fringe isn't a Claudia Winkleman-style block. Eyebrows are visible-ish.

Maybe side-sweep the fringe?

Yes and no. I wear glasses so everything sort of meets at my eyebrows, fringe frames the lot.

This is a bit annoying as it means my fringe has to be exactly the right length, which it is one week in 12

I have a Claudia fringe and I love that it covers my eyebrows, they're not as full as they used to be

I stupidly let the hairdresser's junior cut my fringe in the Summer, she cut it way above my eyebrows and it wasn't even straight! I came home and cried...
I hid at home for 2 weeks until it was a more reasonable length.
Honestly, it looked like my mum had cut it for me

I have Claudia-esque fringe - saves me plucking my eyebrows!

The problem with glasses, is you aim for picture one, but spend far more time in states 2 or, especially as my fringe seems to grow very quickly, 3

I had an Anna Wintour style fringe cut last winter - I loved it - it grazed my eyebrows but now I'm growing it out it's softer and more of a side swept fringe. All I can say is that in summer it was so hot.

I have my (blunt) fringe cut at about eyebrow length, so when it's dry it's shorter - I prefer it that way and I definitely don't feel like I'm 8! It's a bit longer at the sides so it's not a completely straight line. I have very thick hair, so I find that having my fringe that bit shorter makes my head look less taken over by hair.

Maybe go a bit shorter next time and see if you like it?

iseenodust · 24/10/2014 13:41

I have mine cut just above eyebrows as it grows really quickly. I have it cut quite wide and feathered to soften it. Never been asked for ID in pub.Smile

i find that my hair grows so fast anyway that if they did accidentally or on purpose cut it too short that it would literally be grown back in two weeks.
