what to wear to a christening- December

I don't want to look too Christmassy but would like to look 'dressed up'.

I had a christening in January when I was 12 weeks pregnant and I wore smart black skinny trousers with a loose cream shirt with black trim round the neck and a tweed jacket. Looked smart enough and was warm enough! HTH.

thanks. a warm coat is a must in a cold church. I have a nice wool grey/black coat so that bit is sorted. just need to decide on what to wear underneath. I hadn't thought of trousers so thanks for that.
