Best high street shop for boyfriend style jeans?

I hate jeans shopping - I can never find anything that is comfortable and fits. I'm a size 12-14 (more 14 thanks to my bum and thighs) and 5ft 2. My current jeans are from matalan, boyfriend style (I think that's what they're called anyway - they have a wide-ish straight leg). I am comfortable in them and they suit my (lack of) style. But matalan don't seem to have the same ones anymore - these are a couple of years old. Where is good on the high street to look? I've got Dorothy Perkins, new look, M&S, asda, tesco, sainsbury, next and matalan nearby. Thanks :-)

Sorry it's not on your list but I really like Zara jeans. I got my boyfriends from there and they are just as good if not better than my James Jeans which were $$$$$$

I am your size and height and have a pair from Gap. I tend to wait and buy my jeans in the sale rather than full price.

Unfortunately I have neither gap nor Zara anywhere near me and I really don't want to order online as I know I'll have to try loads of different ones before finding anything suitable. Thanks for the suggestions though.

River Island and HandM do good denim.

Oh yes - I've got a river island nearby... Never thought of there :-)

River Island Ashley boyfriend jeans are nice.

These Jigsaw ones are nice too but dearer.

I've got a few boyfriend style jeans from Next but the sizes seem to be quite small so it doesn't help your esteem!

I looked everywhere, and ended up in Gap (sorry!).

They were the best by far - not too slouchy and, most importantly for me, no rips.

I have the jigsaw ones, and they are massively sized, so I take a very flattering size down from normal! And they're nice jeans too.
