Do you wear mascara on your bottom lashes?

Inspired by another thread I can't help wondering if I've been putting my mascara on wrong all these years? So what is the verdict? Does it go on bottom lashes or not?

I put it on the bottom lashes. I'm not very stylish so idea if i'm doing it right or not. It definitely looks better on top and bottom lashes on me.

Only for a night out, if I put mascara on my bottom lashes during the day it ends up in my under eye bags by the end of the working day.
Tbh it prob does the same on a night out, but is less noticeable due to darkness/beer googles

Rarely as I have horrible eye rubbing tendencies so this avoids panda eyes.

No. I am extremely long sighted so essentially put mascara on blind. Top lashes are long enough that I don't stab myself in the eye.

I don't put it on bottom lashes except for a night out when make up "heavier" darker tones

Yes, definitely, I just look weird without a bit on the bottom as they're really fair!

Yes, definitely. My lashes are pale at the ends and it looks so much better, even if I don't do much eyeshadow or liner.

Though I also like to pile that on the bottom eye, sometimes ??

I do it by holding the mascara brush kind of vertical and brushing it on individual lashes.

Yes I do. I use a primer on the bottom lashes first though as it helps them look thicker/fuller.

I don't as mine are quite long and it ends up on my skin.

Yes. Brush across horizontally lightly (rather than down). I still do this even though I am 52. But I very weirdly have few wrinkles under my eyes.

No. I think it opens up your eyes more if you just do the top lashes.

Also, the lower ones just smudge.

Most of the time I wear mascara on the bottom lashes, but it does depend on the rest of my makeup. I don't pile loads on - it's just to give the bottom lashes colour and length, but not to the point of looking like little spidery legs.

I use a tubing mascara so it doesn't smudge :)

YES! I have non existent lashes if no mascara or dye so I just do out of habit

Yep. I've got virtually invisible eyelashes and just putting mascara on top looks really odd.

Yes and I have dark lashes, it never smudges, but I put less on the bottom than the top ones.

Yes! I have a mascara with a normal brush on one end and a mini brush on the other end especially for bottom lashes.
