Used to wear treggings, tunics and knee boots a lot for work, which can involve a bit of walking/standing/kneeling. Recently have been told we can't wear that sort of thing and must be more office-y.
So . . . have been wearing office trousers, "smashing blouse" and mum boots which is OK but I don't like the heels and want to be able to be a bit more nimble should the occasion demand, which it sometimes does. (Don't want to say what I do, or might out myself). Plus when I get home from work my feet ache and they never used to.
Can you wear ankle boots under [straight legged] office trousers without it looking weird?
Help! Am an old trout and no longer have any confidence in what I wear. And it goes without saying that I don't want to make myself look any bloody older.
