Clarks Orinocco Jive biker boots question / black toe cap?

Does anyone have these in the brown colour? Is the toe cap area black but the rest brown? I tried a pair on which fitted perfectly, super comfy, and exactly what I wanted but I didn't 'get' why the toe cap is black but the rest of the boot brown. Looks odd, no?

Interested to hear if anyone has these and what do you think?

It's just the way they've chosen to style them this year, with a two-tone leather finish. It isn't my favourite look, but it's okay. Toes tend to scuff first so it'll blend down eventually.

I've got them....the toe on mine is darker but not exactly black - it blends in. I'm finding them hard to wear, they loom great til you put them on but under trousers they just don't seem to look right. What would you wear yours with?

Surely as a biker boot they go over trousers, not under?

Fallulah - these work best with tights and dresses or ponte leggings and longer length tops or sweaters.
