Looking for the perfect tan leather bag

I just don't know where else to look - tried all the usual fellows like clarks, John Lewis, m&s... I want a tan leather day bag, ideally shoulder strap and cross body strap, big enough for a netbook and general day guff, with a few pockets.

Does anyone know of any gems around?

Following as this is also my holy grail... The strap finally broke on my current bag today and I'm desperate to find a replacement!

i have a french connection one. can fit ipad in. strap v sturdy. keep lots in but not cheap Sad

Thanks daisy - I hadn't thought of French connection. Nothing there for me at the mo though. Where else to try? Budget's about £150 although I'd rather it was less Wink

I've ordered this to be delivered to store tomorrow, used student discount too so another 10% off. I'm not normally a Radley fan, but it looks quite nice and has pockets/shoulder strap etc. I'll report back once I've seen it in person Smile

I have a bag from BHS (can't link for some reason) but google BHS then black leather buckle 3 compartment bag (comes in a light brown too) & is currently reduced to £50.

It is lovely Smile

I've got oushka Dover bag in tan. I've had it a couple of years and I love it. It's my perfect bag with handles and strap, lots of internal pockets and lovely lining fabric. I bought it from red direct when it was on offer.

Oooooh I love that Oushka Dover bag - are the handles long enough to go over your shoulder? What are the pockets like?

I've got this one in navy Peony & Moore Mariella. Its gorgeous, I love it. Fits A4 and lots pockets...

Sorry googie just noticed your question. Handles fit comfortably over arms and it just seems to fit into your body. The pockets are great my iPhone fits perfectly into one of them so it's not loose in the bottom of the bag. It's got a lovely lining Ooo can't you just tell its my favourite bag ever. It's going strong after few years hard use. Get one Wink
