Does waterproof mascara run if you cry?

I have a funeral coming up......

Mine doesn't run as such, not as much as normal mascara. It just looks a bit smudgy

No, it holds up ok.
I bought it for a funeral too.

I used waterproof mascara a few times. It doesn't smudge but I found it crumbled a little and left black bits around the eye when I rubbed my eye too much.

Have a tissue at hand and wipe softly.

It doesn't run on me but depending on which one I use can smudge a little. I think I used the max factor one recently and it stayed put.

Be careful to go for watrprooof and not water resistant. Water resistant is NOT waterproof.

I often use the Maybeline Colossal waterproof -infact I only use waterproof. I had Marks & Spencer Autograph Aqua proof on today for an interview (*my eyes water and run constantly) and (quick check!!) it is still in place. Quite a nice one. Won't give you mega lashes but still......

Don't use the Max Factor in the green tube (wild mega volume). It goes on lovely but is water resistant - I just saw the word water.... and thought yay! waterproof. Nope -in even a slight downpor or just runny eyes I am ike Alice Cooper!!!!

I put fake lashes on for these occasions because then there is def no running.

barry M waterproof is the best IMO does not budge until you want it too, with baby oil at bedtime.
