tried to pull this off yesterday with black opaques.... looked odd. Any pinterst pictures with this combo show lots of bare legged beauties and its's far too cold I'm too old for that
Any suggestions to help me get this skirt out oy wardrobe and actauly were the bloody thing..

Grey? Burgundy?

MilkThistle187 · 16/10/2014 09:30

I would go with navy tights, I wear this a lot and think the navy tights look better

dexter73 · 16/10/2014 09:40

If you don't like black then I would try navy. I think introducing another colour for the tights wouldn't look that great.

peasandlove · 16/10/2014 09:51

I would only wear black but I despise coloured tights

Greengardenpixie · 16/10/2014 10:09

You could wear black slightly sheerer tights..... denier 40 or 60? Thatbshould blend both navy skirt and black boots together. The problem will be the tights are too solid in black colour next to navy.

Greengardenpixie · 16/10/2014 10:11

Should have said make sure the tights are sheer enough to see a bit of your skin through.

If you go for navy, you may also need to make sure that the tights are the same navy as the skirt - it's one of the reasons why I almost never wear navy tights with navy skirts/dresses (unless it's a denim skirt) as slightly mismatched navies (a blackish navy with a more blue one) annoy me.

I'm wearing that combination today - although boots are below knee rather than ankle - and have gone with grey tights (to match grey top). Quite pleased with result...

Mme, have some sheer black somewhere... Will try a cheapo navy to compare as well... ThanksSmile
