Foundation recommendations for pale, slightly oily skin?

I have fairly pale skin and I've recently been using the Lush Coalface soap and their Angles on Bare Skin cleanser, that's cleared up my spots and blemishes quite nicely. But I always seem to get a fairly oily nose halfway through the day.

Thinking it might be something to do with my foundation? So something that isn't oily and looks quite matte when on the skin would be ideal, thank you!

What's the Lush soap like? Personally, I'm totally against soap. I have oily skin and since I stopped worrying about getting rid of it, it's got better. I use oils, balms, creams and it's fine. I've stopped using foaming face washes and soaps and my skin looks loads better.

I use Estée Lauder Double wear foundation and like it. I've tried others, such as the Bobbi Brown oil free one but that literally slips off my face. Is gross. Lancombe foundation looks nice initially but is packed with alcohol. It's trial and error.

If you're oily though, just powder your nose through the day. I've tried lots of anti oil products and at best they do nothing and at worst they dry me out and make my face sore.

I think it's quite good actually, the topside of the soap has the gritty feel which is great for exfoliating, the underside is soft which I use on the days when my skin needs a more gentle cleaning. It's not a foamy soap, neither is the cleanser, it leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean Smile

I'm changing my foundation every time I go to the store, I've found the mouse type ones are much better and look less oily and dewy.

I'm going to try the Estée Lauder one then, I've seen a few people recommend that one on here, I'll most likely be on the hunt for a good powder too! Thank you! Thanks
