Could you lovely ladies recommend any heat protect products for when you use the straighteners on your hair?

I already have the VO5 Heat Protect spray (I think it's that one...) I use when blow-drying but when I spray it on my dry hair to straighten it the sizzling sound scares me a little, any advice or recommendations??

I'm trying to keep my hair in this really good condition I've tried so hard to get. Thank you in advance! Smile

Shouldn't you let the spray dry before you straighten? It wouldn't sizzle then, surely.

See I do use the spray then dry my hair, but I'm not convinced it works once it's dry, does it?

I'm looking for one I could use then straighten/style my hair straight afterwards - if that makes any sense at all...

I either let my hair dry naturally I'd give it a quick blast any old how with the dryer. Then I put the spray on. Just a fine mist. Holding the bottle a fair way away from my head. So my hair isn't ?et again, just lightly misted. I wait for that to dry, which takes a couple of minutes, and then straighten.

Ooh thank you Smile, any particular sprays you'd recommend?

I use the tresseme one, but I am going to buy a better one when it runs out. I think my hair needs more help. I find that one bottle lasts ages though! GHD does one, so I might try that.

I use Frizz Ease hair serum and also love THIS The hairdresser always puts this one and it smells lovely too.
The hairdresser also uses THIS some of the time.
