A skirt that I can bend in without my bum showing

I tend to only wear dresses and skirts although I've noticed recently that a lot of the stuff I've come across is way too short. Midi and long skirts don't quite look right on me but I'd be happy with anything that was just above the knee or slightly shorter. The usual places I would look were asos, and oasap but I just cant find anything suitable.

Anyone know of places that sell affordable short skirts/dresses that I don't have to stand up perfectly straight in to stop everyone seeing my pants?

DD2(16) and me were on the same hunt yesterday.

You would have thought a black or grey smart skirt for sixth form wasn't hard. Hmm very short, or unflatteringly on the knee, despite DD being very average hight.

A long one?

A Whistles tube skirt? Some of them are short but they are such tight jersey that they don't move when bending down, therefore no pants on show!

fat face and boden. Also H&M basics range

M&S? I know he are bit frowned upon but if you can find something you like the style often comes in different lengths. I'm 5ft 3 and find their 21 inch skirts are just above the knee but not up my thighs.IYKWIM.
