bought some boots today, only problem is they look stupid with all my clothes!

well perhaps not all of them but a fair few!. they are flat pointy slouchy velvet ankle boots from new look and so far all i can wear with them that looks ok is a short skirt with tights (not really a lover of short skirts) or my shorts. Any ideas of what other styles may suit these boots would be welcome!

oh and I also bought some footless tights but thats best left unsaid!!

having a nightmare with all the sudden changes in fashion all my clothes are brown( not grey) all my boots or the wrong length wrong colour. can;t get the hang of the layering thing - feel like i am wearing too many clothes

from what i have seen pointy velvet boots( which sound lovely BTW) go with shirt dresses and skinny jeans ( i think)

apparently you can now wear boots with jeans tucked inside

though it's not a look I'd go for having been there the first time round

me too cappucino- i just look at the redblackandwhite stuff, the skinny black jeans the pixie boots the red plastic jewellery the leggings the chunky longline cardigans and think of myself snogging boys in 1983 out the back of the roller disco

well I have skinny jeans and a shirt dress but am also weary of the boots in jeans thing, i actually think it can look a bit cheap!! fortunately my shorts are grey, so thats alright then!! Thanks ladies!
