Hello

Does anyone know what the next shoe size up from 4F is? Do you know how long shoes last before they outgrow them. I have just got my 18 month son a pair of navy 4F from clarks and just soon I will need to get him the next size up. Would you have more than 1 pair at this stage as I was thinking about getting him some beige leather shoes. DO Clarks have a size chart??

Thank you in advance!! Foxy

4 and a half
ds only has one pair.If i was you i would get size 5

dd has one pair of boots, one pair of wellies and one pair of shoes.
Some kids go up entire sizes in a few weeks, other slike my dd take ONE year to go up even half a size...

Toddlers have such spurts so it is really hard to predict. Unless you find that he is in the same shoes for say more than 4 months, then I would usually try to skip the half-sizes.

Usually children will stay at a similar width, but not always, especially at the early stages, so I wouldn't try to guess ahead too much.

I wouldn't buy new shoes until his feet have grown. The shape of the shoe is a factor in whether it will fit as well as just size. If you buy the next size up you may find it's a wrong fit.

He might need a different width - DS1's been a G but is now an F. I wouldn't bother with more than one pair. Get him measured every six weeks at this age.

An 18 month old child only really needs one pair of shoes, esp. at this time of the year (unless you want to buy more of course)

Your ds' feet should be measured every time before you buy new shoes. Don't forget foot width can increase too.

I wouldn't buy more shoes for him until his feet grow, as at this age they grow very quickly & the shoes are expensive.
You are reccomended to get their feet measured every 6 weeks, although my boys seem to only go up a half size every 6 months - think they are in the minority here though!
